2017 Trends

I just can't believe, its December and 2017 is almost done. Well, I have seen a lot of changes in 2017 be it Fashion,beauty,lifestyle,food,etc. So I have decided to share my favourite trends of this year.

1. MULES

Talking about mules I must say, I'm a huge fan of footwear and my all time favourites would be sneakers and heels. Obviously mules are my next obsession as they are really comfortable, casual and trendy too.They are retro,classy footwear which people started wearing a lot lately and these have to be on my top list of 2017 trends.

2. GINGHAM

Okay! I've seen sooooo many people wearing gingham print shirts,dresses,shoes,bags,phone cases and more!! This is obviously trending and they just look so classy, formal yet chic. We can style gingham in so many different ways and they would just standout! In my opinion Kangana Ranaut is the queen of edgy, street style looks.She paired a gingham bralette sort of crop top with a skirt which is so chic and i personally love to wear gingham print💜

3. SHEET MASKS

Sheet masks are face shaped fabrics [cotton based sheets] soaked in serum and they are originated from South Korea. Its a part of their skin care and they use it most of the days which lead to a fresh, glowy skin. Recently people have started using these as they are really convenient to use rather than mixing different products and applying it on the face,waiting for it to dry and a lot mess! So people find it easy to use a sheet mask and its been a basic skin care trend in 2017.

4. DENIM ON DENIM

Omg!! Denim is my most comfortable piece of clothing and I wear it most of the time,be it college, movies,airports,shopping etc. Denim on denim is the latest celebrity style and they are some serious style inspiration for me! Mainly Gigi Hadid💛She looks absolutely stunning and I don't understand how effortlessly she dresses up and look so good. Coming to Bollywood, Alia Bhatt is my fav! Basically she's my style inspiration!

5. METALLIC NAILS

Metallic nails are quite on trend this year! This can be a really good alternative for pastels, floral arts and bright nail colours.They give a mirror effect to the nails which looks amazing! A silver coat of metallic nail polish will instantly glam up your look.

6. PALAZZOS

Skinny pants have been there in our wardrobe for a very long time but now we must change our dressing style and get these comfortable pair of palazzo pants, they are just like pyjamas but more unique and stylish.We can style them in different ways to look formal,casual,chic! The ever gorgeous Deepika Padukone wore these palazzo pants paired with an amazing off shoulder top which has bell sleeves, she's such a stunner!! 

 7. SLIT TROUSERS

For denims there are many options to wear but this could be a trendy version which Alia Bhatt wore!
I have seen a slit trouser, button up trouser and many more! and nothing could beat this in my opinion. This look is just awesome because of the high low cut of the pant and the distressed part [fringes or tassels]

8.VELVET

There's something about velvet,it feels luxurious and people this year started loving it a lot. Not only dresses but shoes,bags,etc are also of velvet💜 A velvet dress can be a perfect option for a dinner date.Urvashi wore a bodycon velvet dress which looks so pretty on her, and she don't need to accessories much because the dress does everything,the texture itself is absolutely gorgeous.
